Inspiring people of all ages to take charge of their health

Teaching goes beyond the college classroom. Our educational programs bring health, medicine, nutrition, and science basics to elementary students in schools surrounding USC. Our students get valuable life and classroom experience, while children in kindergarten through 12th grade learn health literacy they can share with their families and gain exposure to careers they may not otherwise consider. And in an age when the public often receives unreliable health information, our Center for Health Journalism shares evidence-based reporting with the nation.
